FABRINA MELÓN

Born in Guadalupe and raised in Paris, she begins her theatrical studies with the prominent group Teatro de los Andes in Bolivia. Upon moving to Mexico, she performed in the play The Blacks by Jean Genet, under the direction of José Luis Cruz. She has trained with world-renowned artists such as Claudia Mader (improvisation techniques-Germany), Diego Piñón (Butoh dance-Mexico), Maria Teresa Dal Pero (vocal training-Italy), among others. As an actress she has participated in the play Niños Chocolate, under the direction of Alberto Lomnitz, and Yanga, directed by Alicia Martínez; both creations under the company Mulato Teatro, with which she has performed for full seasons and traveled in national tours. She was also part of the cast in the play Good People under the direction of Diego del Río.
She is co-founder and part of the permanent cast of Teatro de Ciertos Habitantes, under the direction of Claudio Valdés Kuri. Parallel to her work as an actress, she has trained in the area of arts management with Michael Kaiser, director of the Kennedy Center (Washington). She is currently in charge of the international promotion and administration of the company.
