ALINE LEMUS BERNAL
She is a scenic creator, graduated with a degree in Theater from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. She is co-founder of XIPE Colectivo Escénico, where she works as a producer and actress. Their production Aquerón: el río de la tragedia by Xavier Villanova - under the direction of Martín Balmaceda - has been performed in Puebla, Mexico City, El Paso, and New York City. She directed Cósmica, by Gabriela Román Fuentes, a project selected for presentation at the National School Theater Program.
As a playwright she has written Where do the dead go?, published by Paso de Gato Press in their anthology Contemporary Puebla Dramaturgy. She took part in a creative residency at the Camp-in festival with choreographer Vladimir Rodríguez in the piece Romerías. Currently, she is part of the creative team of the company Teatro de Ciertos Habitantes, having participated as interpreter and assistant director in the productions of Insect Play, Joan of Arc at the Stake, Lower your Voice, Artaud in a Thousand Pieces, and Triple Concert, under the direction of Claudio Valdés Kuri.
